Enhancing public infrastructure through a new generation of centers
The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity's Community Medical Centers (CMP) are midway between primary health care centers (levels 1 and 2) and the hospital network. They have been designed to meet medical emergency needs in areas located far from hospitals. The objectives are to reduce the pressure exerted on existing healthcare facilities and to offer underprivileged populations direct and accessible care nearby.
Promoting comprehensive care and regular monitoring for the poor
A Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity CMP is a local healthcare center. It provides access to multiple medical services in a single facility. Families and individuals have access to an integrated care network, particularly in case of emergencies, chronic diseases and maternal and child health. Thanks to the coordinated action of a multidisciplinary team, working in close collaboration with the primary care physician, patients have access to better specialist care and monitoring.
Ensuring efficient management and national coverage
These centers will be managed by the Ministry of Health, in accordance with the national health map and current regulations, notably in terms of medical coverage. Five Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity CMPs will be established in the cities of Tangier, Casablanca, the New Town of Errahma, Rabat and Temara. More will follow in order to improve national coverage and provide medical services where people live.
